Hilario Medina ID’d as Man Killed in South Odessa Crash on West Apple Street near Bonanza Avenue
Odessa, Texas (May 29, 2019) – The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified Hilario Medina as the 62-year-old man who was killed Friday last week in a traffic accident in south Odessa.
The deadly crash was reported at around 10: 54 a.m. Friday, May 24 on West Apple Street, approximately 10 miles south of Odessa.
According to the DPS, a Cadillac Escalade driven by Medina, was turning onto Apple Street from Bonanza Avenue when for unspecified reasons, it was hit by another Cadillac Escalade.
Medina was declared deceased at the crash site. The juvenile driver of the second Escalade was transported to Medical Center Hospital with incapacitating injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
