Homeless Man Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Pease Street in Houston

Homeless Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Pease Street at North Freeway

Houston, Texas (May 12, 2023) – A homeless man was killed Tuesday morning in a pedestrian crash in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 3:30 a.m., May 9, in the 500 block of Pease Street.

Police said the man was walking in one of the lanes of the entrance ramp from Pease Street to the North Freeway when he was struck by a northbound white Ford Explorer.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Ford driver, a 31-year-old man, was not intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was questioned and released. His 24-year-old passenger was uninjured in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
