Isaac Noel Escobedo Dies Weeks After Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Crash on Montana Avenue in El Paso

35-Year-Old Isaac Noel Escobedo Killed in El Paso Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Crash on Montana Avenue

El Paso, Texas (May 10, 2020) – The motorcyclist who was injured last month in a hit-and-run crash in far east El Paso has died, according to authorities.

35-year-old Isaac Noel Escobedo died on May 6.

The crash happened around 10:00 p.m. April 25, in the 12900 block of Montana Avenue.

According to a preliminary investigation, Escobedo was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound while a Ford Mustang driven by 24-year-old Cody Dale Caudill was traveling behind.

Caudill then rear-ended the motorcycle at a high rate of speed and fled the scene.

Escobedo was taken to the hospital, where he died on May 6.

Caudill was later located and was arrested for an accident involving serious bodily injury and later charged with manslaughter.

Caudill was booked into the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility and is being held under a $551,000.00 bond.

The crash remains under investigation.
