Woman, Child Injured in Hit-and-Run on Loop 1604 East in San Antonio

52-Year-Old Woman and Child Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 1604 East at Nacogdoches Road

San Antonio, Texas (January 16, 2023) – A 52-year-old woman and a child were injured Saturday night in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash happened around 10:26 p.m., January 14, at the intersection of Loop 1604 East and Nacogdoches Road.

Police said a Camaro was traveling eastbound in the 16600 block of Nacogdoches Road when it ran a red light at the intersection and struck a Chrysler.

The Camaro driver fled the scene on foot.

The 52-year-old woman and child in the Chrysler were taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

If found, the Camaro driver will face a Failure to Stop and Render Aid charge.

The police are investigating the crash.
