Jamie Beatriz Trevino Killed in Live Oak County Crash at State Highway 59 and FM 624

Jamie Beatriz Trevino ID’d as Woman Killed in Live Oak County Car Accident at State Highway 59 and FM 624

Live Oak County, Texas (August 16, 2019) – Authorities have identified the woman who was killed late Wednesday night in a traffic accident involving a charter bus at an intersection in Live Oak County as Jamie Beatriz Trevino, 33.

The deadly accident took place at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 14 at the intersection of State Highway 59 and Farm to Market 624 between Freer and George West.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Trevino was driving a small sedan when she allegedly ran a red light and slammed into a charter bus that was traveling on FM 624.

Trevino’s vehicle ended up underneath the bus after the impact. Trevino died in the accident.

A small child passenger in the Trevino’s vehicle was in a safety seat and was transported to Driscoll Children’s Hospital via HALO Flight in serious condition.

There were around 35 people on the bus when the accident occurred. Two passengers were checked out by responding paramedics at the scene. They are expected to be okay.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
