Janet Hutchins Killed After Car Crashes into Cedar Hill Hair Salon on FM 1382

Cedar Hill, Texas (January 14, 2022) – A woman was killed Saturday morning after a car crashed into a hair salon in Cedar Hill, according to the authorities.

The deadly crash happened around 8:53 a.m., January 8, at the Great Clips hair salon in the 440 block of E FM 1382.

Authorities said a car drove into the building.

One person in the hair salon was pronounced dead at the scene. She has been identified as 54-year-old Janet Hutchins of DeSoto.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Cedar Hill Police is investigating the crash. Anyone with any information about the crash is asked to call Sgt. Cooley at 972-293-5181 ext. 2148.
