Javier Gallegos Dies in Nacogdoches County Car Crash on County Road 724

Nacogdoches County, Texas (March 20, 2019) – One person was killed in a fiery two-vehicle collision on Sunday night in Nacogdoches County, according to the DPS.
The incident happened at about 8:53 p.m. March 17, on County Road 724.
DPS said Javier Gallegos, 48, of Nacogdoches, was driving a 1989 Honda passenger car southbound on CR 724 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming 2013 Ford passenger car.
Gallegos was rushed to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after.
The Ford driver, identified as Daniel Solis, 33, of Nacogdoches, was not hurt.
The DPS is currently investigating the incident.
