Jeffrey Bourgeouis Dies Weeks After Car Crash at Springdale Road and U.S. Highway 290 in Austin

Jeffrey Bourgeouis Killed in NE Austin Three-Vehicle Crash at Springdale Road and U.S. Highway 290

Austin, Texas (October 16, 2020) – The man who was injured last month in a three-vehicle crash in northeast Austin has died, according to the police.

The crash happened around 5:50 a.m., September 27, at the intersection of Springdale Road and U.S. Highway 290.

Police said Jeffrey Bourgeouis, 53, was driving a gray 2020 Toyota Corolla eastbound on U.S. Highway 290 when a gray 2006 Honda Accord ran a red light and crashed into the Corolla.

The impact caused the Corolla to crash into a silver 2008 Nissan Quest.

Bourgeouis and the other people in the other vehicles were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas, where Bourgeouis died on October 9.
