Jesse Duer Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Howard Lane in NE Austin

Jesse Duer Killed in NE Austin Pedestrian Accident on Howard Lane

Austin, Texas – The man who died on Monday after being hit by a vehicle on February 1 in NE Austin has been identified as 39-year-old Jesse Duer, according to the police.

The accident happened just after 7:00 a.m., in the 700 block of West Howard Lane.

Police said Duer was struck by a pickup truck and was taken to the hospital where he died on February 5.

The pickup truck driver remained at the scene, was not impaired, and cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
