John Monroe Guiling Killed in Rear-End Crash on MoPac Expressway in Austin

John Monroe Guiling Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on MoPac Expressway near U.S. Highway 183
Austin, Texas (April 26, 2019) – The driver who was injured last week in a rear-end crash in Austin has died, according to the police.
The crash happened on Sunday, April 14, in the 11200 block of North MoPac Expressway, near U.S. Highway 183.
Police said a Mitsubishi sedan was heading southbound when it stopped to yield the right-of-way to an emergency vehicle and a Chevrolet pickup driven by John Monroe Guiling, 86, rear-ended it.
Guiling was taken to the hospital where he died on Tuesday, April 23.
The crash remains under investigation.
