Jose Jones Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on McLean Street in El Paso
Jose Jones ID’d as Man Injured in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on McLean Street near Edgemere Boulevard
El Paso, Texas (July 23, 2022) – The man who was injured in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday night in east El Paso has been identified as Jose Jones, 64, according to El Paso police.
The crash occurred at about 8:41 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, in the 3400 block of McLean Street near Edgemere Boulevard.
Police said Jones was crossing McLean Street when he was struck by a dark-colored sedan that was traveling southbound.
After hitting Jones, the sedan turned right on Edgemere Boulevard and fled the scene.
Jones was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
