Joseph Payne, Hunter Miller Killed in Odessa Car Accident at FM 3472 and North Avenue I

Joseph Payne and Hunter Miller Identified as 2 People Killed in Odessa Crash at FM 3472 and North Avenue I
Odessa, Texas (May 7, 2019) – The Texas Department of Public Safety have identified Joseph Payne and Hunter Miller as the two people were killed Wednesday morning in a two-car accident in Odessa.
The deadly crash occurred at around 11:48 a.m. Wednesday, May 1 at FM 3472 and North Avenue I.
Authorities said a Toyota Avalon driven by Joseph Payne, was heading westbound on FM 3427 when it made an unsafe lane change and collided with a Cadillac driven by Tyrice Lowery.
Payne then lost control of the vehicle and rolled over before hitting a utility pole.
Payne and Miller, a passenger in the Avalon, were both taken to Medical Center Hospital where they later succumbed their injuries.
Megan Cantrell, who was the third passenger in the Avalon, was taken to MCH with incapacitating injuries. Lowery and a passenger in the Cadillac, Veronica Rodriguez, were also transported to MCH with non-incapacitating injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
