Khan Naing Killed in Amarillo Pedestrian Accident on Northeast 9th Avenue

Amarillo, Texas (August 13, 2019) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident Sunday night in Amarillo, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident occurred just before 10:30 p.m. August 11, in the 5900 block of Northeast 9th Avenue.

Police said Khan Naing, 55, was lying in the road when he was over by a red Dodge pickup truck.

Naing was declared dead at the scene.

The Dodge driver fled the scene after the accident.

The Amarillo Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Squad is conducting the investigation.
