Kylie Morgan Killed in Navasota Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 105 at Grimes County Road 423

Navasota, Texas – A woman was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash southeast of Navasota, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 2:45 p.m., December 11, at the intersection of State Highway 105 and Grimes County Road 423.

DPS said Kylie Morgan, 21, of Canyon Lake, was driving a 2019 Hyundai Elantra and was stopped on CR-423, preparing to turn onto the highway. A 2018 Dodge Ram pickup was traveling eastbound on the highway, when the Hyundai pulled out and turned in front of the Dodge, resulting in a collision.

Morgan was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Navasota where she was pronounced dead.

The driver and passenger of the pickup were uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
