Lance Butts and Colby Cooper Killed in Orange County Dirt Bike Crash on Linscomb (Vidor)
Orange County, Texas (December 22, 2019) – Two people were killed Friday night in a dirt bike crash in Orange County, according to the DPS.
The fatal crash happened around 8:30 p.m., December 20, in the 800 Block of Linscomb (Vidor).
DPS said a 2015 Honda dirt bike was traveling southbound on Linscomb while a 2016 Suzuki dirt bike was traveling northbound.
The two bikes then collided head-on.
The Honda driver, 19-year-old Lance Butts of Buna, was declared dead at the scene.
The Suzuki driver, Colby Cooper,21, of Vidor, was also pronounced dead at the scene.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
