Larry Davis Killed in Car Crash on I-35 near Jarrell

Larry Davis Killed in Jarrell Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

Jarrell, Texas (May 22, 2021) – Two people were killed last week Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash, one mile south of Jarrell, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly crash happened around 5:26 a.m., May 11, on Interstate 35.

DPS said a 2014 Hyundai Elantra was traveling southbound behind a Freightliner truck tractor towing a trailer.

For unknown reasons, the Elantra rear-ended the trailer.

The Elantra driver, Larry Davis, 27, of Kyle, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, August Holland, 46, of Buda, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
