82-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Westheimer Road

Houston, Texas (March 2, 2021) – An 82-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle Monday morning in Houston near the Galleria area, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:45 a.m., March 1, in the 6100 block of Westheimer Road near Potomac.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the street, outside a crosswalk, when he was struck by a Hyundai SUV driven by a 54-year-old.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
