Lorenzo Moreno Reyna ID’d as Man Injured in Mission Auto-Pedestrian Accident on Fifth and Conway

Mission, Texas (January 4, 2020) – The 85-year-old man who was injured in a pedestrian accident Thursday night in Mission has been identified as Lorenzo Moreno Reyna, according to the police.

The accident took place around 8:17 p.m. on January 2, in the area of Fifth and Conway.

Police said Reyna was crossing Conway, outside of a crosswalk, when he was hit by a northbound vehicle.

The female driver immediately called 911 and rendered aid to the victim, who was still breathing but unresponsive.

Reyna was taken to McAllen Medical with head trauma, fractured pelvis, ribs, and a broken back. He is currently in an induced coma.

An investigation is ongoing.
