DPS said a Mercedes Benz hydroplaned on the wet highway and crashed into a concrete barrier. The driver of a Chevrolet Silverado stopped on the inside shoulder to help and turned the truck’s flashers on.

A Ford box truck hit the Silverado and then struck a Ford truck.

When traffic began to slow down, several other vehicles collided.

A total of twelve vehicles were involved in the crash.

Two drivers were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash snarled traffic on southbound Interstate 35.

The crash remains under investigation.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
