Police Officer Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at ATT&T Parkway and Gembler Road
San Antonio, Texas (February 21, 2019) – A police officer was hospitalized Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to direct traffic near the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, according to a local news source.
The crash occurred just after 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 20 at ATT&T Parkway and Gembler Road.
As per the report, the officer was hit by an SUV. He sustained injuries to his stomach and was taken to a hospital.
The driver of the SUV was tested for DUI.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
