Leander, Texas (October 5, 2022) – Two people were killed Friday evening in a motorcycle crash in Leander, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 7:30 p.m., September 30, at the intersection of RM 2243 and 183A Toll Road.

Police said a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling southbound on 183A Toll Road frontage road when it stopped at a red light at the intersection. The two people on the motorcycle, 49-year-old Jeremy Moore and 47-year-old Angela Barry, both from Cedar Park, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Landrum was arrested for two counts of Intoxication Manslaughter and was taken to Williamson County Jail.

The police are investigating the crash.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

There are many different reasons why automobile, 18-wheeler, and motorcycle accidents occur, including driver negligence, driver inattention, texting and driving, speeding, fatigue, failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, or private drive, running a red light, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. While the factors listed above are the main causes of most accidents, there may also be other factors involved, which is why it’s important that an investigation be conducted before evidence disappears, especially in cases involving a fatality.  At Joel A. Gordon & Associates, we will act quickly to secure accident scene photos, interview witnesses, obtain police records, and secure other valuable evidence needed to win your case.  Call now for a free consultation.
