Man, 3-Year-Old Boy Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run on Lake Forest Drive in Harris County

Man and Child Critically Injured in Northwest Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Lake Forest Drive

Harris County, Texas (March 8, 2020) – A man and a 3-year-old boy were critically injured in a hit-and-run accident Saturday evening in northwest Harris County, according to the deputies.

The accident happened on Saturday, March 7, on Lake Forest Drive just east of Grant Road.

Deputies said the man and the child were crossing the street when they were hit by a silver Nissan Altima.

The man and the child were airlifted to the hospital in unknown conditions.

The driver fled the scene but was later located at a nearby apartment complex. Three people were detained for failing to stop and render aid.

The deputies are investigating the crash.
