Bracia Paige Killed in Odessa Pedestrian Accident on 8th Street near Moody Avenue

Odessa, Texas – A woman was killed Wednesday evening in a pedestrian accident in Odessa, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident was reported around 8:30 p.m., January 24, near 8th Street and Moody Avenue.

According to the report, 50-year-old Bracia Paige was attempting to cross East 8th Street, outside of a crosswalk, when she was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 25-year-old man.

Paige was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash closed the westbound lanes of 8th Street just west of Dixie Blvd.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
