Man Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Harry Hines Boulevard

Dallas, Texas (December 20, 2019) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Thursday morning in northwest Dallas, police said.

The accident happened around 4:00 a.m. December 19, in the 11600 block of Harry Hines Boulevard.

Police said the man was struck by a vehicle for unknown reasons on the northbound side of Harry Hines Boulevard.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been disclosed.

Two white shoes were found along with a bumper further northbound at the intersection of Harry Hines and Interstate 635.

It’s unclear if the involved driver stopped after the crash.

The crash closed the northbound lanes of Harry Hines.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
