One Killed in Jacinto City Pedestrian Accident on East Freeway Service Road at Mercury
Jacinto City, Texas (January 19, 2019) – A man was fatally struck by a vehicle Thursday morning in Jacinto City, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened at about 7:50 a.m. January 17, on the East Freeway service road.
Police said the man had a red light and was crossing northbound at Mercury near the service road when the traffic turned green, and he was struck by a Waste Connections truck.
He was taken to Memorial Hermann where he was declared dead. His name has not been released.
The police are investigating the crash.
