Man Hit, Killed by Two Cars on McKay Bridge in Harris County

Man Killed in NE Harris County Pedestrian Accident on McKay Bridge at Lake Houston

Harris County, Texas (May 13, 2022) – A man was fatally hit by two cars Thursday morning in northeast Harris County, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 3:00 a.m., on May 12, on the McKay Bridge over Lake Houston.

Authorities said the man was walking in the middle of the bridge on the main lanes of the road when he was struck by a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and then a silver Honda Odyssey van.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. They were not impaired at the time of the accident.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
