Man Injured in Cleveland Pedestrian Accident on West Southline Street

Cleveland, Texas (April 16, 2023) – A male pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Friday night in Cleveland, according to the Cleveland Police Department.

The crash happened at around 9:08 p.m. Friday, April 14, in the 400 block of West Southline Street.

Cleveland police said a 2008 Hyundai SUV was traveling eastbound on West Southline Street when it hit a man who stepped into traffic lanes without looking for oncoming vehicles.

The man was airlifted to a Houston area trauma center in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation by the Cleveland Police Department.
