Man Injured in Electric Bicycle Accident on South Business 281 in Edinburg

42-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Edinburg Crash on South Business 281

Edinburg, Texas (April 21, 2022) – A 42-year-old man riding an electric bicycle was struck and injured by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Edinburg, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported at around 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, in the 2600 South Business 281.

As per the report, the man was riding the electric bicycle on the shoulder along Business 281 when, for an unknown reason, a Ford Explorer hit him.

The driver of the Explorer, identified as a 42-year-old woman, stopped and rendered aid to the man until medical personnel arrived.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.

No other information regarding the crash was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
