Man Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash on Almeda Genoa Road in Houston

46-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Crash on Almeda Genoa Road

Houston, Texas (June 18, 2022) – A three-vehicle collision has claimed the life of a 46-year-old man Friday morning in Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

The fatal wreck happened at around 10:25 a.m. Friday, June 17, in the 3000 block of Almeda Genoa Road.

Police said the man was driving a blue Chrysler Sebring eastbound on Almeda Genoa Road when, for unknown reasons, he allowed the vehicle to drift into the westbound lane, where it collided with a white Ford F-450 pickup truck.

A black Chrysler 300S then rear-ended the pickup truck.

The driver of the Sebring was transported to a local hospital, where he was declared dead. His name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

No other injuries were reported

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided. The accident remains under investigation.
