Seven Students Hospitalized after La Joya School Bus Crash on Military and Abram Road

La Joya, Texas (November 23, 2019) – Seven students were injured Friday morning in a school bus crash in La Joya, according to the authorities.

The crash took place on Friday, November 22, in the area of Military and Abram Road.

Authorities said a John F. Kennedy Elementary school bus was slowing down to pick up a student when it was rear-ended by a border patrol agent.

Seven students on the bus were taken to the hospital as a safety precaution. The bus driver and border patrol agent were also transported to the hospital.

La Joya ISD Police are investigating the crash.
