Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on North Freeway

Houston, Texas (December 7, 2020) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Sunday night in Houston, according to police.

The deadly crash happened around 10:15 p.m., December 6, in the northbound lanes of the North Freeway near W. Mt. Houston.

Police said the man was trying to cross the freeway when he was struck by a vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The police are looking for the hit-and-run driver.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call HPD or Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
