Jason Ford Killed in Valley Mills Motorcycle Crash on State Highway 6

Valley Mills, Texas (August 15, 2023) – A man was killed Saturday night in a motorcycle crash 2.5 miles south of Valley Mills, according to the troopers.

The fatal crash happened around 11:50 p.m., August 12, on State Highway 6.

Troopers said Jason Ford, 47, of McGregor, was riding a 2019 Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on the highway while a 2014 Toyota passenger car was traveling northbound.

Ford crossed over the center double yellow lines at an excessive rate of speed and traveled into the northbound lane, where he collided with the Toyota.

Ford was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
