Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Airline Drive near 29th Street

Houston, Texas (December 10, 2020) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night in Houston’s Northside, according to police.

The deadly accident happened on December 9, on Airline Drive near 29th Street.

Police said the man was walking near a bus stop when he was struck by a dark-colored truck or SUV.

The driver fled the scene after the accident.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

The police are looking for the involved vehicle.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call HPD’s Vehicular Crimes Division.
