Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Houston Street Viaduct in Dallas

Man Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Houston Street Viaduct 

Dallas, Texas (March 19, 2021) – A man was killed early Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash in downtown Dallas, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 1:50 a.m., March 18, on Houston Street Viaduct near South Market Street and the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.

Police said the man was walking in the left lane of the street when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound in the left lane.

The car fled the scene after the accident.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

No additional details regarding the crash were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
