Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Southwest Freeway near Kirby Drive

Houston, Texas (January 23, 2021) – A man was killed early Saturday morning in a hit-and-run crash in southwest Houston, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 1:30 a.m. on Southwest Freeway near Kirby Drive. 

Police said the man was in the outbound lanes of the freeway when he was struck by at least one vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the police.
