76-Year-Old Killed in DWI Crash on South Loop West in Houston; Kenneth Williams Arrested

76-Year-Old Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on South Loop West; Kenneth Williams Arrested

Houston, Texas (July 18, 2022) – An adult was killed, and two children were injured Saturday evening in a DWI crash in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 5:45 p.m., July 16, in the 2300 block of South Loop West (South Interstate Highway 610 West) service road at Kirby Drive.

Police said a black Infinity EX35 had the green light and was making a left turn from Kirby Drive to the westbound service road when a westbound black Honda Pilot ran a red light and struck it.

The Infinity driver was pronounced dead at the scene. They have only been identified as a 76-year-old.

Two juvenile passengers in the Pilot were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The Pilot driver, Kenneth Jarrod Williams, 45, was arrested at the scene and was determined to be intoxicated. He has been charged with felony murder.

The police are investigating the crash.
