Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Walzem Road at I-35 North in San Antonio

Driver Killed, Passenger Seriously Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Walzem Road at I-35 North

San Antonio, Texas (April 16, 2020) – A man was killed, and his passenger was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in San Antonio, according to police.

The fatal crash occurred just before 7:00 a.m. at the intersection of Walzem Road and the access road of Interstate 35 North.

Police said a driver ran a red light at the intersection and hit the drivers-side door of the man’s car.

The man was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released. His female passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver who ran the red light wasn’t seriously injured in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
