Man Killed, Woman Injured in 18-Wheeler Crash on Talley Road in San Antonio

31-Year-Old Man Killed, Woman Injured in San Antonio Crash on Talley Road and Culebra Road

San Antonio, Texas (July 26, 2022) – A man was killed and a woman was injured in a collision between an 18-wheeler and an SUV Tuesday morning in San Antonio, according to authorities.

The tragic accident occurred at about 9:13 a.m. on Talley Road at Culebra Road.

Witnesses told the authorities that a KIA SUV was heading westbound on Culebra Road when the driver attempted to make a left turn onto Talley Road on a yellow turn arrow. An 18-wheeler truck was unable to stop in time and hit the KIA on the passenger side.

A 31-year-old man, who was the front seat passenger in the KIA, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

The woman who was driving the KIA was transported to University Hospital in unknown condition.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
