One Killed in Longview Multi-Vehicle Crash at Birdsong Street and Loop 281
Longview, Texas (January 22, 2019) – One person was killed early Tuesday morning in a four-vehicle crash at a Longview intersection, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash was reported just after 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Birdsong Street and Loop 281.
Responding officers found four vehicles which had collided at the scene.
One person was killed in the collision.
It’s unclear if there were any other injuries.
Both sides of Loop 281 were closed following the crash.
The southbound traffic was diverted at State Highway 31 while the northbound traffic was diverted at Birdsong Street.
Drivers were urged to seek alternate routes.
The police are conducting the investigation.
