Humberto Morin Jr Killed in Webb County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 59

Webb County, Texas (November 10, 2023) – The man who was killed Wednesday evening in a head-on collision in Webb County has been identified as Humberto Morin Jr., 46, of San Diego, Texas, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 6:00 p.m., November 8, on US Highway 59 near mile marker 818.

DPS said a Nissan car was traveling westbound when it crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided head-on with an Audi SUV.

The Nissan driver, Morin, was pronounced dead at the scene.

All four passengers in the Audi were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
