Man Seriously Injured in Dallas 18-Wheeler Crash on Interstate 35 near Empire Central Drive

Dallas, Texas (January 9, 2022) – A man was seriously injured in a rear-end crash early Saturday morning in Dallas, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 3:00 a.m., January 8, on Interstate 35.

Authorities said a black Lexus rear-ended an 18-wheeler and was pinned under the back of the truck.

The Lexus driver had to be extricated and he was taken to Parkland Hospital with serious injuries.

The 18-wheeler driver was uninjured in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
