Man Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Dallas North Tollway near Arapaho Road

Dallas, Texas (July 12, 2020) – A man was fatally hit by an 18-wheeler Thursday afternoon in Dallas, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident occurred at about 1:50 p.m. on July 9, on Dallas North Tollway near Arapaho Road.

According to the report, the man was walking with the flow of traffic along the white dashes between lanes on the highway and cars slowed in an attempt to avoid him.

A slowing big rig attempted to pass the man, but it ended up hitting him. The truck ran over him.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he later died. His name has not been released.

An investigation is underway.
