Minor Injuries Sustained in Houston Bus Accident on Highway 59 near Edna
Houston, Texas (January 15, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported Sunday afternoon following a traffic crash involving a passenger bus in Houston, authorities said.
The wreck took place shortly after noon Sunday, January 13 on Highway 59 near Edna.
According to the authorities, a white Ford pickup truck and the bus were both traveling southbound when the truck driver made an unsafe lane change in front of the bus, causing the crash.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety officers, there were 20 passengers on the bus and two people in the truck. DPS said the crash result in minor injuries, but none of the passengers or drivers was taken to a hospital.
The crash remains under investigation by the DPS.
