Martina Medina Hospitalized after El Paso Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 10 at Schuster Avenue

El Paso, Texas (August 16, 2023) – Martina Medina, 63, of El Paso, was hospitalized after being involved in a deadly motorcycle crash on Tuesday afternoon in El Paso, according to El Paso police.

The deadly accident happened at around 2:22 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, on Interstate 10 West near Schuster Avenue.

Police said a 60-year-old man was weaving through traffic at an excessive speed on a black 2022 black Suzuki GSX when he collided with a back of a blue 2022 Nissan Kicks, which had just entered traffic after a roadside tire change.

The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene of the crash.

Medina, who was driving the Nissan, was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash closed I-10 West at Porfirio Diaz.

The police are investigating the crash.
