Michael Macy ID’d as Man Killed in Bellmead Pedestrian Crash on Bellmead Drive

Bellmead, Texas (May 1, 2019) – The 62-year-old Bellmead man who was struck and killed by a car Saturday night in Bellmead has been identified as Michael Macy, according to the Bellmead Police Department.
The deadly accident was reported at about 8:40 p.m. April 27, in the 4700 block of Bellmead Drive near Lone Star Tavern and Steakhouse.
Police said Macy was crossing the street when he was struck by a car driven by a 19-year-old Belton man.
Macy was declared dead at the scene.
The car driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The police are investigating the crash.
