One Seriously Injured in El Paso Pedestrian Accident at Wyoming Avenue and Mesa Street

El Paso, Texas (March 11, 2020) – A person was hit and seriously injured by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in Downtown El Paso, according to a local news source.

The accident happened at about 2:42 a.m. at the intersection of Wyoming Avenue and Mesa Street near the new WestStar Tower construction site.

According to the report, the pedestrian was struck, for unknown reasons, by a vehicle at the intersection.

Officials said the victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No further details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
