Minor Killed and One Injured in Collin County School Bus Crash on FM 3286 at Lavon Lake

Collin County, Texas – A minor was killed and another person was injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash involving a Princeton ISD school bus in Collin County, according to the deputies.

The crash happened around 3:44 p.m., January 31, on the FM 3286 bridge over Lavon Lake also known as Lucas Bridge Road.

Deputies said a Jeep rear-ended a sedan, causing the vehicles to clip the school bus and a truck.

A minor in the backseat of the sedan was killed in the crash.

One other person from one of the passenger vehicles was taken to the hospital for treatment.

No one on the bus was injured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
