Molly Ann Waters Seriously Injured in Car Crash on U.S. Highway 190 in Milam County

46-Year-Old Molly Ann Waters Seriously Injured in Milam County Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 190 

Milam County, Texas (May 14, 2020) – According to the DPS, a woman was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Milam County.

The crash occurred shortly afternoon, May 13, on U.S. Highway 190.

According to a preliminary investigation, Molly Ann Waters, 46, of Academy, was driving a 2016 Jeep SUV westbound while a 2002 truck tractor semi-trailer was stopped in the westbound lane in a construction zone by a construction zone flagman.

Waters failed to control her speed, and she swerved to the right to avoid a collision, but she ended up rear-ending the trailer.

Waters was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple with serious injuries.

The driver of the truck, Laverne Hall, 65, of Bryan, was uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
