One Critically Injured in Amarillo Motorcycle Crash at Georgia Street and 15th Avenue

Amarillo, Texas (June 24, 2022) – A motorcyclist was critically injured Friday morning in a crash in Amarillo, according to the police.

The crash happened just before 9:30 a.m., at the intersection of S. Georgia Street and SW 15th Avenue.

Police said the motorcyclist was heading northbound on Georgia when he struck a pickup truck that was turning left onto Georgia from SW 15th Avenue.

The motorcyclist flew over the hood of the truck and landed on the other side. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The pickup truck driver was uninjured in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
