Woman Dies in Corpus Christi Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 37

Corpus Christi, Texas (January 3, 2019) – A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Corpus Christi, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.
The accident happened on Interstate 37 near the Lantana exit on Wednesday, January 2.
Police said the woman was walking on the highway when a car struck her.
The victim died as a result of the crash. Her identity was not immediately released.

Interstate 37 northbound near Lantana exit was shut down as the scene was examined and cleared.
